photogees.

The reason why I am so indulged into photography is not because it looks cool by holding a bulky large camera. It is now because I can own such a great camera in my hand. It is because, this bulky large thing on my hand records each and every moments in my life.

I remember the first camera I held was an Olympus film camera, which I am sure it is no longer in the market anymore. I was around 7 years old that time, and I did not know anything about camera. I did not know that film cameras cannot be deleted once it is taken, hence, I continue snapping. Of course, the photos came out to be quite 'creative' in a way. I realised that every moment captured in the camera will not be erased, even you had forgotten about it. Each time you flip through the photo album, you will see, every faces of yours, every faces of your beloved ones in your mind.

The power of the camera is not in the battery slots itself, it is the memories, and the ability to capture every moment in your life. I was mesmerized by photographs from all over the world. Although sometimes these photographs turned out to be awful, each photograph sends a deep message behind the image on the glossy paper. The photo above is indeed a great example of awful photographs. The photos is underexposed and exposed too much on blue. However, this photography hits a perfect meaning of friends. Both of them are my friends, which we had known each other for five years, till today, nothing separates us from talking or sharing lifetime experiences.

The greatest photography moment in my life is snapping a smile. Yes, a smile. Everyone will be wondering, of course everyone does smile in the photographs, don't they ? However, how will you feel if you managed to draw a wide smile in a frown face ? I am not talking about Joker from Batman though, I am talking about people with down feelings, and the moment you captured them in the photographs, you see wide sweet smile reviving back on their faces.

He is from an orphanage homes in Kuala Lumpur. Alyssa made it possible for them to have an hour climb in MadMonkeyz Climbing Gym in Wangsa Maju. He had a deep cut in his mind, which perhaps everyone will not take it when they are at his age. But, I captured one of the moment of his life. I believe his smile was not fake, nor a model smile. His smile, is a gratitude to all of us, for bringing joy and drawing smiles into each and every child that we had brought there.

I just want you to smile as wide as before.
And live as happily as before.
